It’s a 2 in 1 laptop and tablet, And it makes it very easy to flip to a tablet mode if I’m reading a cooking recipe or watching a show on it. I love how it’s easy to take around as well.

Pros of dell Inspiron 13 5000 :
The Dell Inspiron 5379 has fairly good specifications on paper packing an intel i5 8250u (Latest by intel in 2017) 8GB ram and 1TB hard drive.Â
The product also comes with a 1920×1080 screen with no PWM flicker which means that you can work on this for hours without straining your eyes.
The typing experience on this keyboard is not so bad although I would like the keys to have better feedback. The trackpad is nearly OK at most although it’s quite responsive.Â
The only thing I didn’t like about the trackpad was that it was a bit rough textured and didn’t feel smooth.

Cons of Dell Inspiron 13 5000 :
Nevertheless, there are a few cons to this product. The product has a very poor quality sound system!
It’s understandable that the product doesn’t come with a premium quality speaker and neither should it be expected for the price but the microphone is even worse.Â
I performed a microphone test on this product both with the built-in and external microphone. In both situations, the sound quality was so bad that it was not worth trying to fix it. My voice sounded more electronic rather than natural.Â

It was also noticeable that the laptop was also running much hotter than it should which indicates that the cooling system was optimal. The single vent at the rear part of the laptop was simply not enough to circulate the air.Â
The laptop also has an issue with the screen! And I am sure most people will hardly notice this but the screen has a faint flickering when the brightness is lowered all the way down.Â
And I am not talking about PWM flickers that look like horizontal bars moving from top to bottom, rather I am talking about the entire screen flickering as though it is dimming and brightening itself on its own.
