Generally, the IOE entrance exam for Bachelor in Engineering and Bachelor in Architecture is conducted in the month of August/September. This time the entrance examination is again delayed due to the pandemic and the whole schedule has been dispersed.

Eligibility Criteria For IOE Entrance Examination
Who can participate in the IOE BE Entrance Examination of 2079 (2022) to get admission for the 2079 batch intake?
To know the answer to this question, one has to complete the following requirements or eligibility criteria according to the next point must be fulfilled.
- Passed in Physics and Chemistry from T.U. or affiliated colleges in Nepal or studied Mathematics as a major subject in classes 11 and 12 from NEB.
- At least 45% of total full marks (if in percentage) or at least C grade on all subjects-wise each (not overall C grade) if studied A Level or diploma in engineering from CTEVT or other institutes of Nepal affiliated to T.U or other universities in Nepal.
- The transcript is necessary if available or at least an online copy of your grade sheet/ mark sheet of the last examination you attended.

IOE has been conducting computer-based entrance exams. It seems the IOE Entrance exam for 2078 has a more chance of the entrance exam being CBT this time too.

IOE BE Entrance 2079 News: Previous Old Notice
However, By now we can just understand clearly that when grade 12 exams are over as you have got results in your hands. IOE has released a notice stating that the entrance will be conducted in the month of February in the year 2022.
The official note link for this can be found here. But still, the exact date of the IOE Entrance Examination 2022 is not fixed. It is likely to start from the last of Magh.
Also, students need not worry as there is one more notice to come regarding Entrance Exam registration which will be released at least 15 days prior to the entrance date.
Syllabus of IOE BE Entrance Exam 2078/79
IOE has published the IOE entrance syllabus for IOE entrance preparation students. IOE Entrance examinations date generally falls in September every year. But due to the pandemic caused by the new variant of covid(covid-19), it started a bit late in Magh of 2077 previous year. Some important points regarding the IOE entrance exam 2022 :
- IOE Entrance examinations date used to be in September every year.
- This year as the previous one, due to the pandemic it was delayed from Shrawan and will be carried out in Magh.
- Subjects like engineering aptitude and engineering drawing are removed from the syllabus of the IOE Entrance.
- Study the compulsory EPCM subjects only.
- Start studying according to the above syllabus, and follow some books if you like.
