The Entrance Exam department of the Institute of Engineering (IOE) under Tribhuvan University (TU) conducts entrance exams for admission into various streams of engineering at Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE) and Masters level (MSc) in Pulchowk Engineering College.

IOE Entrance Examination Form:

You can fill up the Registration Form for IOE Entrance Examination online using the following link:https://entrance.ioe.edu.np/. 

Make sure that you have to pay the Registration fee before filling up the online form. You have to visit the nearest Siddhartha bank or use eSewa to pay. After payment save the voucher later use in the form. The cost of registration is NRs. 2,000.

IOE Admit Card

After filling up the Registration Form for IOE Entrance Examination online, you will get your admit card from the Print Your Admit Card section on the website of the IOE entrance exam.

IOE Entrance Exam Center and Location

The venue for the entrance exam will be the ICTC building located in Pulchowk, Kathmandu. Foreign nationals are advised to get in touch with the Entrance Exam Board at ICTC Pulchowk for further information.

IOE Entrance Date

These exams are generally held in August and November respectively. The selection exam is conducted a few months after the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) final exam of grade 12 but before the publication of science results.

If an individual passes the entrance exam, they will be eligible for admission into IOE constituent and affiliated Engineering Colleges in Nepal.

2. What will be the IOE Entrance Pass Marks?

The pass mark of the IOE Entrance Exam is around 55 marks. The full marks of the IOE Entrance examination are 140 marks.

3. What is the duration of the IOE Entrance Exam?

The duration of the exam is 2 hours and all students must submit answers within that time.
