Is the Samsung Galaxy S10 compatible with eSIM?
Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S10 does not support eSIM.
Does the iPhone 10 support eSIM?
Unfortunately, the iPhone 10 does not support eSIM. The first Apple phones to do so were the iPhone XR and the iPhone XS in 2018. Previous models are not supported.
Is the Huawei P40 Pro + compatible with eSIM?
No, only the P40 and P40 Pro models are compatible. It seems that the ceramic case of the Pro+ prevents this.
What should I do if my phone is not compatible with eSIM? How can I connect to the internet on my travels?
If your phone does not support eSIM technology, you can buy a physical SIM card for your travels.
What does SIM stand for?
Subscriber Identity Module
Can my eSIM be topped up?
Depending on the provider, some have it built-in, and others need to be deleted and purchased again. You can check if your eSIM is top-up enabled in your “my eSIM” tab within the Airalo app.
Why do eSIM prices vary?
Different providers will offer different rates based on regional restrictions, market competition, and regulation. While the price of an eSIM may vary from region to region, you can always be sure that Airalo offers a competitive market price for the region.
What’s an eSIM validity period?
Your validity period means your eSIM will be active for the allotted time in your plan. If you purchased an eSIM with 1-week of validity, the eSIM will become unavailable after that week from purchase.
What is my data limit?
Your data limit will depend on your package and your validity period. If you buy 1GB of data for 1 week of data validity, if either the time period expires or you use up your data, your eSIM will need to be reloaded or reinstalled, depending on the top-up function.
