Applicants whose names have been published for admission in IOE should be admitted by the person themselves or through their representative within the stipulated date along with the following documents.

The admission process practised by the constituent colleges is the same, but the process followed by the affiliated colleges may differ from one another. So contact respective constituent colleges separately for admission.

भनार्का लागि नाम प्रकाशित भएका आवेदकहरूले निम्नलिखित कागजपत्रहरूका साथ आफैं वा आफ्नो प्रतिनिधिमार्फत तोकिएको मितिभित्र भर्ना हुनुपर्नेछ ।
1. Provisional Certificate and Character Certificate (Original), and verified Photocopy of both.
Original and certified copy of the certificate of admission (SLC)/SEE or a similar examination, or a certificate issued by the concerned board or Provisional Certificate and Character Certificate (Original), and verified Photocopy of both.
प्रवेशिका (एस.एल.सी.) वा सो सरहको परीक्षाको लब्धाङ्कपत्र, सम्वन्धित वोर्डले प्रदान गरेको प्रमाणपत्र वा Provisional Certificate र चारित्रिक प्रमाणपत्रको सक्कल र प्रमाणित प्रतिलिपि १/१ प्रति ।
2. Provisional Certificate and Character Certificate of +2 Level/A Level
Proficiency Certificate Level in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 11th and 12th class from a recognized educational institution, Higher Secondary level, Bachelor’s degree or A-Level or Engineering Diploma Level or similar examinations. A copy of the certificate of merit obtained and passed a certificate issued by the concerned board and a complete and certified copy of the certificate of character.
मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षण–संस्थाबाट भौतिक शास्त्र, रसायन शास्त्र तथा ११ र १२ कक्षामा गणित विषय लिई प्रवीणता प्रमाणपत्र तह, उच्च माध्यमिक तह वा A-Level वा इन्जिनियरिंब डिप्लोमा तह वा सो सरहको परीक्षामा कूल पूर्णाङ्कको कम्तिमा ४५% तथा Letter Grading भएमा NEB को हकमा सवै बिषयहरुमा Final Grade मा न्युनतम C Grade प्राप्त गरी उत्तीर्ण गरेको लब्धाङ्कपत्र (Transcript), सम्वन्धित वोर्डले प्रदान गरेको प्रमाणपत्र वा Provisional Certificate र चारित्रिक प्रमाणपत्रहरूको सक्कल र प्रमाणित प्रतिलिपि १/१ प्रति।
3. Citizenship Card of Nepal Original and Photocopy
Original and certified copy of Nepali citizenship certificate 1 copy.
नेपाली नागरिकताको प्रमाणपत्रको सक्कल र प्रमाणित प्रतिलिपि १ प्रति ।
4. Certificate from respective university or council (If studied from other boards )
Proficiency certificate from universities except for T.U. Those who have passed the 10 + 2 like examination from the board other than the council have a certificate of equivalence from the concerned body, the original migration certificate of the concerned board, and its photocopy.
त्रि.वि. बाहेक अन्य विश्वविद्यालयबाट प्रवीणता प्रमाणपत्र तह वा राष्ट्रिय परीक्षा बोर्ड/उच्च मा. वि. परिषद बाहेक अन्य बोर्डबाट १०+२ वा सो सरहको परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण गर्नेहरूले सम्बन्धित निकायबाट समकक्षताको प्रमाण पत्र, सम्बन्धित बोर्डको माइग्रेसन सर्टिफिकेटको सक्कल र प्रमाणित प्रतिलिपि १/१ प्रति ।
5. Verified Passport Photocopy Of foreign Students
Foreign applicants must submit a certified copy of the passport.
विदेशी आवेदकहरूले राहदानीको प्रमाणित प्रतिलिपि पेश गर्नुपर्नेछ ।
6. Letter of recommendation of Quota Based Students (If allocated in quota)
Applicants applying for reserved seats for permanent (probationary period) teachers/staff working under the Institute of Engineering Studies should submit a certified copy of the application along with the application from the working campus. If the children of any teacher or staff apply, those teachers/staff will have to submit a letter of recommendation from the office where they worked.
इन्जिनियरिब अध्ययन संस्थान अन्तर्गत कार्यरत स्थायी (परीक्षणकाल हटिसकेका) शिक्षक/कर्मचारीहरूका लागिसुरक्षित सिटमा आवेदन दिने आवेदकले कार्यरत क्याम्पसबाट पूर्व–स्वीकृति–पत्र लिई आवेदनसाथ सोको प्रमाणित प्रतिलिपि पेश गर्नुपर्ने छ ।
कुनै शिक्षक तथा कर्मचारीका छोरा/छोरीले आवेदन दिने भएमा ती शिक्षक/कर्मचारीले आफूले काम गरेको कार्यालयको सिफारिश पत्र निवेदनसाथ पेश गर्नुपर्नेछ ।
7. Can only study in one university at a time
If any applicant is found to be enrolled in two universities or institutions of the same or similar level at the same time, only the certificate obtained by registering in the educational institution or the university of Nepal will be recognized.
कुनै आवेदकले एकै समयमा एउटै वा समानस्तरको कोर्ष दुई विश्वविद्यालय वा संस्थामा दर्ता गरेको पाइएमा नेपालको शिक्षण–संस्था वा विश्वविद्यालयमा दर्ता गरी प्राप्त गरेको प्रमाणपत्रलाई मात्र मान्यता दिइनेछ ।
