Total Seats in IOE: The total number of seats for students to study engineering at IOE in Nepal is 4200. However, the total number of seats at Central Pulchowk Campus is only 528. Sometimes students get confused between seats at IOE and Pulchowk.

There are a total of 14 Engineering colleges that are affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) in Nepal. From them, four are IOE organ colleges (government-funded) that offer regular and paying methods for admission in different faculties of Bachelor in Engineering.

The remaining 10 colleges also provide partially government funding and offer regular and paying methods for admission in different faculties of Bachelor in Engineering.
